LOS ANGELES, Sept. 10, 2009 /www.newhighmart.com/ -- Reflecting upon our move to Lo Feliz after two years in Chinatown, the one thing we really missed were all the import dollar stores stocked with random necessities whenever we needed anything.

So, to ease our separation anxiety and pay homage to our roots, we decided to dedicate a small room within the new space to present our own curated version of one of these variety shops.

New high (M)art introduces "Objets d'(M)art."

With a small mix of utilitarian products rescued from closeout warehouses, neighborhood bodegas and street merchants from around the world, we're happy to retail an interesting collection of goods selected for their practicality, peculiarity, primitivity and/or price.

We hope you'll find it as convenient and fun as we do.
